Science and embodiment as a foundation

 

The Iceflow Method is inspired by different approaches to strengthening the immune system. A key foundation is the Wim Hof Method, expanded through the somatic awareness of Feldenkrais and a philosophical depth inspired by Alan Watts.

Scientific research has shown that we are not only capable of better coping with illness and depression or enhancing performance — we also create the foundations for greater resilience, joy and confidence.

The Iceflow Method rests on three interwoven pillars:

  • Functional Breathing – uniting functional breathing and conscious breathwork with the Feldenkrais principle of awareness through movement: learning to breathe more efficiently, to sense more deeply, and to let the body reorganize itself with ease.
  • Cold Exposure – embracing the element of cold as a mirror of resistance: by softening into challenge, we cultivate resilience, energy and vitality.
  • Mindset – not rigid willpower, but a playful clarity: inspired by Alan Watts, we explore how letting go, being present and reconnecting with nature can transform pressure into presence.
